If you've noticed your computer has slowed to a crawl, or if pop-ups have started appearing, or if a programme has installed itself that you don't recognise — there's a chance something has gotten in. Most of the time it's harmless. Occasionally it's serious. We can tell which it is in a single short session.
What we do

- Remove anything that shouldn't be there — gently, without scaring you.
- Explain what we found, in plain English, and how it most likely got there.
- Set up free, reputable protection so it's less likely to happen again.
- Show you the few simple things to watch out for in future.
How long it takes
Most cases are sorted in 45 minutes to an hour. We connect to your computer using safe remote-support software (you can watch us the whole time), or guide you over the telephone if you'd prefer.
If your computer is actually fine — and quite often it is — we'll say so. You won't be charged for a problem that didn't exist.
