Terms & conditions.

The rules of using our service. Same plain-English approach as everything else we do.

These are the terms under which Seniors Tech Assistance ("we") provides services to you ("you"). By using our website or services, you agree to them.

1. What we provide

Technology assistance for older adults, including (but not limited to) computer setup, virus removal, software installation, account help, and patient tuition. Delivered by telephone, video call, or safe remote-support session.

2. What you agree to

  • To give us accurate information about yourself.
  • To pay any fees agreed (we'll always quote first; nothing happens by surprise).
  • Not to use our service for anything unlawful.

3. Cancellation

Members may cancel at any time. There is no minimum term, no notice period, and no exit fee. Monthly memberships end at the end of the paid month. Annual members may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund.

4. Refunds

If you're unhappy with any session, tell us within 14 days and we will refund it in full. We'd rather refund a session than leave you feeling let down.

5. What we cannot do

We are not able to: hack into accounts you've lost the password to and where the official recovery process has failed; recover hardware-damaged drives; provide legal or financial advice; or work on devices that are clearly stolen. We can refer you to a specialist for any of these.

6. Our liability

We take care, but software being software, things very occasionally go wrong. Our liability to you is limited to the fees you've paid us in the previous twelve months. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer in the UK.

7. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Members will be told by email before changes take effect. The current version is always at this page.

8. Disputes

If there's a problem, please ring us first. If we still can't resolve it together, these terms are governed by English law and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
