For more than thirty years, we've worked in technology — building software, running networks, fixing all manner of things that go wrong with computers. In all that time, the people we've enjoyed helping most haven't been the technical ones. They've been the people who simply wanted things to work, without having to learn the jargon to get there.

Patience comes first

We never hurry. We don't talk down. We start exactly where you are, not where a textbook thinks you ought to be.

Plain English, always

If we use a technical word, we apologise and explain it. There is no test at the end. There is no "you ought to know this by now". It's just two people working something out together.

Honest, even when it hurts our pricing

If your computer is fine, we'll tell you. If a small change will fix it, we won't quote you for a replacement. If we think you should buy a particular product, we'll say so — and we'll point out the cheapest place to get it, not the one that pays us a commission. (There is no commission. We don't take any.)

Safe and respectful

When we connect to your computer, you watch us the whole time. We never touch anything without asking. We end every session by leaving you with a short note of what we did, what we changed, and any passwords we set. Nothing happens that you can't see.

Where we work from

We're based in the United Kingdom and we help people across the whole UK. Most of our work happens over the telephone, by video call, or through a safe remote-support session where we can see and assist with your screen. If you'd like to meet in person — and you're within easy reach — we can sometimes arrange that too.

What we don't do

We don't sell anti-virus subscriptions. We don't take cold calls. We don't appear in pop-ups on your screen warning you that you've got a virus. If anyone claims to be us and does any of those things, it isn't us. Hang up. Then ring our real number: 07432 086 899.
