About cookies.
A cookie is a tiny note your browser keeps for a website. We use almost none. Here is the honest list.
We have tried to design this website to use as few cookies as possible. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any of the third-party analytics tools that pass your browsing habits around the internet. We are not Google.
The cookies we do use
- A "you've seen the cookie notice" cookie. Stored in your browser only (technically, in local storage) so the small notice at the bottom of the page does not keep popping up at you on every visit. It contains the value "1" and nothing else.
- A session cookie, but only if you log in to the members' area. It keeps you signed in while you are using the site, and expires when you close your browser.
What we do not use
- No Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, TikTok pixel, or any third-party tracker.
- No advertising cookies. We do not run advertisements.
- No "session replay" tools that record what you do on the page.
- No data sold to anyone, ever.
How to turn cookies off altogether
You can clear or block cookies from your browser's settings. The site will still work, but the cookie notice may appear again on each visit, and the members' area will not be able to keep you signed in. Quick guides:
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies.
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Safari (Mac & iPad): Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
If you are unsure how to do this, give us a ring on 07432 086 899 and we will walk you through it.
